| MT. Hood Federal Credit Union serves the employees of KOIN TV, Mira Productions, Mission Control, Clear Channel Radio, Right Brain Resource, and their families related by blood or marriage.
We were founded in 1954 by a group of KOIN TV and Radio employees who felt the need to build a cooperative, owned by the membership, so they could offer low cost loans and high interest share/savings accounts to their coworkers. The credit union was run out of the business department at KOIN, but was and still is its' own separate entity.
The credit union was chartered through the National Credit Union Administration and is insured by that agency's share insurance fund.
